Aphrodite

There are those who are non believers.  They do not believe that the ancient Greek Gods and Goddesses exsisted.  In fact, they believe that there is and only has ever been one God.  These are close minded christians.  I am going to set this straight right here and now.

You also have your historians and researchers who believe that the ancient Gods lived in a conformed community.  Not so.  There are no writings of any kind from those ancient days.  It is a proven fact that writing did not become popular until the ages of christianity.  In the days of the old Greek (or Atlantian) religion, there were no scribes except those who were gods themselves.  You may call me a theoretical nutcase, but what I say here, I truly believe.  There were gods, they were not of Greece but of Atlantis, and they were not as history describes them.  For example, Apollo and Aphrodite have a long history together covering more than 3 millenia.  But I will leave it up to the experts to explain how I would know such a thing.  I will just tell you the story and let you make up your own minds.

Atlantis

Aphrodite was the Goddess of Love, Harmony, and Music.  She was the most beautiful Goddess of her time and was adored by many of the Gods.  She was a teacher.  Her duty was to teach the unlovable to love unconditionally.  And in doing this she fell in love many times with many Gods and even Mortals.  Even though she loved many, she found her hearts desire when she found Apollo.  She first fell in love with Apollo during the invasion of Troy.  She was in fact, the reason that the war between Greece and Troy began.  She found the perfect match with Paris and Helen.  Apollo came into the scene when his sister, Athena helped Achillies with his battle plan.  Achillies vandalized Apollo's temple and threatned Apollo's faithful people of Troy.  So Apollo came to take revenge on Achilles and Athena's plot.  Aphrodite saw Apollo and knew that she would be with him.
Now, Millenia later, they are still together, living on.  They make their home in the glorious hills and valleys of Atlantis.

There is so much more to this story, but not enough space to tell it.  As for Apollo's side of the story, well you'd have to ask him.  All I know is that they are deeply in love and have been for millenia past.
